1. Introduction

Welcome to CaliCoach ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring you have a positive experience while using our AI-powered calisthenics coaching application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application (the "App").

By using the App, you consent to the data practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

A. User-Generated Content (Videos)

To provide our core service—AI Form Correction—we collect and process video files that you upload or record via the App.

Clarification on Face Data & Biometrics: We explicitly affirm that this App does not use facial recognition software, does not collect "Face Data" (geometry, depth maps, or biometrics), and does not utilize the Apple TrueDepth API or ARKit Face Tracking features. While the user's face may appear visually in the video recording of their exercise, the AI analysis is strictly limited to body mechanics (skeletal joints, limb angles, and posture). No facial data is extracted, stored, analyzed, or shared with any third party.

• How it is used: These videos are processed using Computer Vision and AI technologies (specifically Google Gemini) to analyze your body mechanics, skeletal alignment, and exercise form.
• Storage: Videos are stored securely in our cloud infrastructure (Google Firebase) to allow you to view your "History" and track your progress over time.

B. Device and Usage Data

We automatically collect certain information about your device, including:

• Device model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers (IDFV).
• Usage data, such as which skills you practice, button clicks, and session duration.
• Session Replay: We use tools to visualize how users interact with the app to identify crashes and usability issues.

C. Subscription Data

We collect anonymous purchase history to verify your subscription status (e.g., Pro vs. Free tier). We do not collect or store your credit card information directly; all financial transactions are handled by Apple via the App Store.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• To Provide Coaching: Analyzing your videos to provide feedback on skills like Handstands, Planches, and Muscle-ups.
• To Maintain History: Storing your attempts so you can review your progression.
• To Improve the App: Analyzing usage trends to fix bugs and improve the accuracy of our AI prompts.
• To Manage Subscriptions: Granting access to premium features via our paywall system.

4. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services to help us operate the App. We do not sell your data to these parties, but data flows through them to provide functionality:

• Google Firebase: Used for secure database storage, video storage, and authentication.
• Google Gemini (AI): Your video data is processed by Google's AI models to generate form feedback.
• Superwall: Used to manage the paywall and subscription infrastructure.
• PostHog: Used for analytics and anonymous session replay to help us improve the user interface and debug technical issues.
• Apple StoreKit: Used to process payments.

5. Permissions

The App requires the following permissions to function:

• Camera: Required to record your training videos for analysis.
• Microphone: Required to capture audio during your video recordings.
• Photo Library: Required to allow you to upload pre-recorded videos for analysis.
• Notifications: Required to send you training reminders based on your selected schedule.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your videos and usage data for as long as you use the App to provide your history log.

Your Right to Delete:
You have the right to delete your data at any time. You can request the deletion of your account and all associated data (including videos) by:

• Using the "Delete Data" button found within the App's Settings menu.
• Contacting us at the email address below.

Once a deletion request is processed, all your videos and records are permanently removed from our servers.

7. Children's Privacy

CaliCoach is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete that information.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy.
